She Knows a Place – Marseille

The young Derby band, Marseille, released their new single “She Knows a Place” on Friday, and it’s the upbeat indie anthem we all need right now. Continuing the British tradition of great guitar bands, this trio have the talent to back up their Madchester’esque swagger. The influence of 90’s bands such as Oasis is clear, but Marseille makes the sound their own.

Will Brown (Guitar & Vocals) Joe Labrum (Guitars) and Sam Wood (Drums) set the bar high with last year’s debut single “Worlds Gone Mad”, and their second release, “Shout It Out Loud”, captured the attention of ‘BBC Introducing’. “She Knows a Place” continues that momentum with high energy guitar and a catchy tune you can’t help but sing along to. With an average age of 18, this bad is just getting started, and we can’t wait to see where they go!
