New EP – “Exile” – The Kaves
Glasgow indie quartet The Kaves are back with an excellent new EP. Exile features the previously released singles “Superglue” and “Somber” (which we’ve previously featured on our weekly playlists) as well as two new songs – “Mr Hollywood” and “Exile”. The four tracks build on the promise of 2024’s Peace Love Mayhem EP and showcase the band’s guitar-driven sound and their ability to craft memorable, anthemic indie-rock gems. Check out Exile below.
Formed in 2021 by David Macdiarmid (Lead singer and guitar) and Liam Prior (lead guitar & synth) over a shared love of 90s music, the alternative scene and shoegaze sounds. The band was soon completed with the addition of Evan Hunter (drums) and Liam’s brother Sean Prior (bass & keys). The Kaves have consistently released music creating their own place within a crowded scene. The band have continued to exceed their own ambitions by playing their own headline dates around the UK, with fans coming back each time for more.
