On This Day…2004

Arcade Fire released their debut studio album “Funeral” on September 14 2004. The album was so titled because several of the band lost family members during the recording process. It received widespread critical acclaim on its release and was voted best album in many end of year lists. Five singles were released from the album with “Rebellion (Lies)” being the most commercially successful. A remastered version of the video has just been released.
