Ocean Colour Scene released “Marchin’ Already” on September 15th 1997. The band’s third album, it continued in the same vain as the highly successful “Moseley Shoals” from the previous year as they rode the Britpop wave. It went to Number 1 in the UK album charts, knocking Oasis’s “Be Here Now” from the top slot. Lead single “Hundred Mile City” is the band’s joint most successful single, reaching number 4 in the UK Singles Chart.
