On This Day…1994

Kylie Minogue released “Kylie Minogue” in the U.K. on September 19th 1994. Her fifth studio album, this was the first after leaving PWL, the label that launched her pop career while she was an actress on the Australian soap “Neighbours”.
The record was released by indie label “Deconstruction” and, as could be heard from first single “Confide in Me”, was a move away from the glossy pop that Kylie was known for. The album had a more sophisticated sound but continued her run of success.
