The Beatles released “Abbey Road” on September 26th, 1969. This was the English rock band’s eleventh studio album. It reached Number 1 in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Spain, the US, West Germany, and the UK charts. It also placed 3rd in the Japanese charts. The recording sessions for this album were the last in which all four Beatles participated.
