Single Review: Time Eats Up by TV People

Following the success of their recent debut single, Dublin’s TV People are back with another cracking slice of indie-rock. “Time Eats Up” reflects on feeling trapped as time is passing you by and was written during a 6 month period of unemployment. The song features Paul Donohoe’s distinct coarse drawl and builds up to a cacophony of guitars and drums on the outro.

Despite only forming in 2019, TV People have received widespread support online from the likes of EARMILK, Little Indie Blogs, When The Horn Blows, Indie Buddie and Analogue Trash, as well as garnering radio support from RTÉ, 98FM and Amazing Radio. Although their headlining show at Bello Bar had to be postponed due to the ongoing Coronavirus, watch for TV People to continue going from strength to strength in 2020.

TV People are vocalist and lead guitarist Paul Donohoe, fellow vocalist and rhythm guitarist Len Rochford, bassist Rob Kavanagh and drummer Brendan Clarke.
