Chloe – Lottie

Lottie is a British singer, songwriter and producer who recently released her debut single “Chloe”. It’s a beautiful ballad about someone looking back on why a relationship had ended but not wanting it to be over (“I see you in every dream I have..”).

We asked Lottie about the inspiration for her new single. “I wrote this song about a film of the same name – I was really interested in the relationship between the characters and the nuances in their emotions. I am also interested in increasing the exposure of LGBT narratives in pop music and that’s what I tried to achieve with ‘Chloe’.”

Lottie has been writing since she was a child, but started to publish her own songs in 2020 when she began to collaborate with producers. Her songs are a mix of indie pop and her lyrics focus on the day to day life of a member of the LGBT community. She has collaborated with multiple international artists and helped to write and produce for other artists.  She studied English and Creative writing at Royal Holloway, University of London and also has a background in musical theatre and performance. She has training in singing, acting and various styles of dance.
