New Single – “Bittersweet” – VIVAS

Sheffield indie rockers VIVAS are back with an infectious new track “Bittersweet” which was just released last week. Their third single of 2023 (after “Out To Get Me” and their cover of “As It Was”) grabs your attention with a catchy guitar riff on the intro before launching into the verse. The lyrics detail the feelings of someone who’s sees their relationship reaching the end and their partner not really putting in the effort to make it work.

“You taste so bitter but you act so sweet and it won’t be long ’til I’m looking in another direction”

It’s two and a half minutes of catchy, indie-rock from a band on the rise that you should definitely be checking out.

With its off the cuff indie attitude and vocal arrangement -Bittersweet is a song that captures the spirit of upbeat, easy-to-listen to indie rock ‘n’ roll that packs a serious punch into just 2:23 minutes.

VIVAS

VIVAS are James Wilson (Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Tyler Savage ( Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals), Kane Ibbertson (Bass/Backing Vocals) and Keaton Barker (Drums). Since forming in 2022, the band have garnered critical acclaim in the UK indie music scene, having already achieved many notable career highlights. They have sold out hometown shows at Sheffield’s venues Sidney & Matilda and The Leadmill, and have already embarked on two independent UK Tours selling out venues in other cities such as Leeds, Glasgow and Manchester. 2023 has been another amazing year as Vivas have supported rock legends Def Leppard and Motley Crew at Sheffield’s Bramall Lane and at Lytham Festival. They are now set to embark on an 11 date UK Tour later this year supporting the likes of Little Man Tate and Apollo Junction, as well as headlining their own shows.
