New Single – “Fool For You” – SUPERSAURUS

London indie pop quartet SUPERSAURUS have just released the ridiculously catchy “Fool For You”, their first track of 2025 and 12th self-produced and self-released single so far. Channeling the sound of The 1975, “Fool For You” effortlessly encapsulates the intense thrill of falling head over heels and the whirlwind of emotions that come with falling in love.

The track originally had about four different instrumentals and it started with the melody, chords, and lyrics, and built from there. It was one of those songs that needed quite a bit of reworking and coming back to before it ended up being what it is today. We wanted to blend late 90s/early 2000s nostalgia with a contemporary perspective on relationships and really get across the intense feelings and whirlwind of emotions, both good and bad, when you start a new relationship.

Inspired by bands like MUNA, Pale Waves, The 1975 and The Aces, London based indie-pop quartet SUPERSAURUS are a non-binary fronted girl band that have been self-producing their nostalgic-sad-pop-bangers since 2022. Their songs come from relatable issues most people are facing, coming from their personal experiences with depression, anxiety and being part of the LGBTQ+ family.

After being featured on Spotify’s “Hot New Bands”, “Peach”, and “Milk” editorial playlists, the band have had a number of singles on BBC Radio 1’s Introducing Rock show with Alyx Holcombe, BBC Radio 1’s Future Alternative show with Nels Hylton, and John Kennedy’s X-Posure Daily, with their single “Safe” also featuring on popular tv series Made In Chelsea.

SUPERSAURUS are definitely one to catch live as they bring a unique blend of indie pop, rock and 80s synth glitz with queer undertones of love. The band opened up The Nest Stage at Truck Festival in 2023 and were selected to perform at Mighty Hoopla in 2024.
