St. Vincent released her 3rd album, “Strange Mercy” in the UK on 4AD Records. Written by Annie Clark in Seattle while spending time in isolation, it has probably the most personal lyrics she has recorded. It received widespread critical acclaim and, at the time, was her highest charting record, making it to number 19 on the US Billboard charts. Two videos were released during the promotion of the album: “Cruel” and “Cheerleader”
