New Single: “10:45” – The Avelles

With the release of their third single, The Avelles continue to enhance their growing reputation. “10:45” is the latest track from the Leeds quintet and follows up “Caught” and “Haciendas”. The band of Joe Priestley (vocals and rhythm guitar), Charlie Miller (vocals, lead guitar), Ethan Shaw, (keys and lead guitar), Patrick Doherty (drums), and Will Priestley (bass) have given us a cracking sing-a-long anthem with some great guitar work.

Formed in Leeds at the same school as the Kaiser Chiefs, The Avelles offer a fresh and exciting sound among the bands in the up and coming indie scene in the UK, having quickly caught the attention of promoters This Feeling and secured several notable support slots with the likes of The Illicits and The Lilacs.
The Avelles have gained a rapidly growing following after sharing covers and original material online, having since played to packed-out venues across Leeds such as The Lending Rooms where they supported The Illicits, and at Oporto supporting Make Friends. Interviewed on BCB Radio and received BBC Introducing Plays on BBC York, after the release of ‘10:45’, The Avelles have secured two gigs at bigger venues in Newcastle and their hometown of Leeds at Brudenell Social Club with Trampolene, both with ThisFeeling, to be closely followed up by a headline gig which is soon to be announced.

Make sure you follow the band on Instagram and Twitter to keep up with all the latest news and show details.
