If you checked out last week’s playlist you would have heard the cracking new single from UK indie band The Underclass. Released on February 5th, “The One” is the band’s fourth single and probably their strongest to date. It has a Britpop feel with lyrics that revolve around following your dream and not letting anyone get in the way, a great guitar hook and impassioned vocals. A great song from a band that is definitely one to watch this year.

The Underclass are a 5 piece guitar driven indie rock band from Stoke-On-Trent who formed in 2019. The band consists of members Jorge Wilson (lead vocals), Matt Trevor (lead guitar), Dillan Ashton (rhythm guitar), Aaron Smith (bass guitar) and Adam Badenjiki (drums). The band are ticking off landmarks left, right and centre, from selling out famous UK venues to playing to big crowds up and down the country.
‘The One’ is available on all major streaming platforms and is also on the physical formats of 7” Vinyl and CD via www.theunderclass.co.uk.
