Heartbreak High – James Burt

Rising star and music student James Burt is back with his second single, ‘Heartbreak High’ out on March 9th. Burt wrote and recorded the song at home adding strength, control, and confidence in the lyrics he sings. Bringing a very upbeat 80s vibe to thoughts of heartbreak, one can’t help but dance along to Burt’s catchy chorus. Drums and atmospheric synths keep you swaying along before the chorus hits with a strong guitar.

James Burt is a 22-year-old rising talent and music student at the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies. He started his career last year but is already one of the breakout stars of Nottingham’s thriving music scene. He released his first single ‘Dance in the Rain’ in December of 2020 and received BBC Introducing Nottingham’s Track of the week, as well as coverage in various music magazines.
