Ok? – The Causeway

Over the weekend Aussie indie band The Causeway released their debut single ‘Ok?’ and it’s a wonderful slice of jangly guitar pop that will have you nodding and singing along. Written by The Causeway lead vocalist Madeline Maher, ‘Ok?’ is about experiences of rejection and compromise when you meet someone you like and find out it’s one-sided. It combines angsty lyrics with a catchy hook and a retro dance vibe, making cathartic light of a cringey situation. Unfortunately they had to cancel their launch show for the single but are still hoping to play The Moshpit on Friday 14th January – more info here.
