Marathon In Heels – The Publics

Following a high-profile support slot at The Reytons’ Album launch party in November 2021, Mansfield-based Indie rockers, The Publics, recently released their first single of 2022, ‘Marathon In Heels’. Now with five band members, the new song is fueled with themes of regret and the need for change but with a huge anthemic chorus and memorable guitar riffs. It’s their best single to date and it will be exciting to see where the expanded lineup goes from here.

Frontman, Josh Porter and Lead Guitarist, Elliot Stephenson began writing and releasing music together in 2018. Throughout the national lockdown the duo signed experienced drummer, James Keith, talented bass player, Euan Finch and young singer/songwriter EBONY to complete their roster.
