We asked Julia to tell us a bit about her debut single.
“I wrote this song with a friend a few years ago for another artist. I’d been in several friendships and relationships where people were self-medicating and trying to cope with their issues by being high all the time. I wanted to be there for them, but it wasn’t healthy for me, and at the end of the day, you can’t fix anyone who doesn’t want to change. This song represented the moment I decided to leave one of those friendships behind.”
