February 28th sees the release of the new single from Southampton quartet Pioneers. Following on from the success of 2019’s EP “I Don’t Think I’ve Changed” and a headline tour, this new song is likely to continue their rise in UK indie scene.
Singer Sam Watts has said that “The track highlights that we are not here to conform to music and cultural norms; instead, we are showing who we really are. I believe this tune captures the essence of us as a live band, which is always something we’ve prided ourselves on.” Opening with a siren-like guitar to warn you of what lies ahead, the band launch into a pulsating catchy slice of indie rock which will resonate with fans of early Arctic Monkeys and Cage The Elephant.
With a homecoming gig next month and more music to follow later, we will be hearing a lot more of Pioneers this year.
