New Album – “Ghost Lovers” – Ghost Lovers
Hailing from Phoenix, AZ, indie rock band Ghost Lovers recently released their wonderful self-titled debut album. The quartet of Quinn Edgar (Vocals / Guitar), Rat Felker (Drums), Alyssa Hattula (Guitar) and Rose Pesquiera (Bass) describe their music as a Polaroid – you see the picture clearly but wonder what happens in the background.
The album was recorded at Sun Moon and Stars recording studio in November and December with Will Noble. We wrote the album back when we were in high school.
Ghost Lovers
The record consists of ten tracks including the four songs they released in 2025 and is packed with catchy tunes and memorable riffs such as on lead single “Head Over Heels”. Our favorite on the album is “Hypnotize” which starts out in a fairly pedestrian way before Quinn interrupts with “wait…we need to speed it up a bit” and it transforms to a multi-part classic. Another one of our favorites is 30 Going 40 with its Pixies-esque guitar riff.

Ghost Lovers takes inspiration from other bands like Phoneboy, Breakup Shoes, Worry Club, Mac Demarco, The Backseat Lovers, and Hey, Nothing. The band is known for their high energy performances, emotional but clear cut lyrics, and unique sound. Over the years Ghost Lovers has gone on tour, released singles, and built a small but growing fan base. In 2026 the band plans on releasing a full length studio album,, go on more than 1 tour, and craft a fan base that loves their music as well as their energy. Overall Ghost Lovers has potential to be more than a local indie band. They plan on becoming the next big indie band that is known around the world. Not only does the band have unique music, high energy, but they have the determination to do more than just be an indie band. Ghost Lovers is more than a sound, it’s an experience.

The band are about to head out on a March Madness tour of AZ and UT. You can get tickets for the date of your choice by visiting this link.
