New Single – “Vodka Soda”- Abby Garcia
New Jersey singer-songwriter has just released a wonderful indie-pop banger which was co-written with emerging singer-songwriter Madhavi Devi. Beginning with a vocals over some strummed acoustic chords, the track tells the tale of a developing infatuation with the chorus repeating “I want, I want, I want, I want this” and building up to an almost pleading “Vodka soda but I’m drunk on your lips, you’re everything that feels good, god I want this!”.
To me, “Vodka Soda” encapsulates the early feelings of an all-encompassing crush. The way everything somehow goes back to them and you can’t get them off your mind, no matter what you’re doing. It makes me want to roll down the windows and sing at the top of my lungs.
